IEC Material for Sustainable Aquaculture
The visual language designed for the information, education, communication material (IEC) was made keeping in mind various stakeholders of the project. It included government organisations & officials, NGOs, implementation partners, Community Resource Person (CRPs), and beneficiaries from fish-farming communities.

The IEC content is developed by aquaculture experts around the world. While retaining the technical value, to cater to the actors in rural Assam & Odisha, the IEC is designed to be:-

With gender-inclusive language & visuals
Characters like Baidu, the helpful guide bring a familiar conversational narrative to the IEC.

The training & IEC material is being used in Assam & Odisha under project SAFAL with a target to complete by the end of year 2023. It impacts 67 Blocks across Assam & Odisha, 600 Trained Community Resource Persons (CRPs) & 3,00,000 Educated & Empowered Farmers.
